MODERN CLASSIC IN THE MAKING

Last week, we kicked off the year with our first Open Studio event, and it was a blast. The vibes were strong, and we served the drinks long. We took the opportunity of our first event of the year to give a sneak peek, or rather, a taste of what's to come from us in 2025.

WHY THE HIGHBALL?

Some drinks transcend the glass and become icons: the Martini, the Negroni, the Spritz, even the humble G&T. They are Simple formulas elevated through ritual, precision, and a little bit of magic.

We believe the Highball deserves to be in this company.

  • Like the Martini, it’s about clarity—every detail counts: temperature, dilution, garnish.
  • Like the Negroni, it’s about balance—bold yet refreshing, complex yet effortless.
  • Like the Spritz, it’s about being social—refreshing, uplifting, and perfect for a good time.
  • And, like the Gin & Tonic over the last 20 years, modern Highball culture has the potential to reshape the outdated whisky culture that holds it back.

So, we’re going all in—and you’re invited.

When whisky is in highball mode, it’s whisky at its best. They’re not just delicious; highballs open up new flavours, spark conversations, and make whisky more fun and accessible. It still blows our minds that even in 2025 whisky culture is defined more by what you shouldn’t do with your drink than by what you can.

Small Details. Big Differences.

The difference between a good Highball and a great one lies in the details. It’s in the precision of technique, the atmosphere, and the hospitality—when they all come together, something greater than the sum of its parts is created.

There’s a certain mystique to the Highball. The elegant pour. The stacking of ice. The effervescence as whisky meets mixer. The artistry of the garnish. It’s a drink that rewards care and attention—a showcase of bartenders’ craft, where the simplest serves often demand the highest skill.
